New Grips for the Tiger Boxer

Some of us Tiger Boxer nuts are always improving our bikes. Sadly, it's rarely cheap. However, there is one little thing you can do that will make your Boxer motorcycle feel more like a racer. Get a cutter knife out and butcher the standard grips. For my feeling, they're far too thick and shiny. Race grips use softer, tackier rubber and they are only wafer thin. They massively increase the feel you get back from the bike through the bars, and the added grip is surprisingly welcome.
When fitting them, it's well worth using the proper glue and lock wire for a secure fit. Don't forget to twist the end of the wire back into the grip, you really don't want it digging in you pinky when you're hard on the brakes.
If you select the right grips, they won't do your bike's image any harm either. You can get grips in several colors and feel. Try it, we reckon that you'll be amazed by the difference.
