I assume the front bearings are sealed, but I'm still curious as to the washer stack-up and axle bolt torque. Does anyone have this information?

If you must know exactly i can probably find out but what does your dealer say?

I dont have a Boxer yet but if my similar Honda manual is any indication, front and rear axle torques are 49 N-m, or 36 ft. lbs. Of course, shops usually dont use a torque wrench and severely overtighten everything.

That brings up a good question. Did you get a proper owners manual? Did Tiger publish a parts and workshop manual--like everyone else does?

Hi anyone,

i just had a 22000 km service stop at tigers service point i n BKK

tiger told me after 20000 km the front bearings must be changed
its about 20 mins work and cost only 140 baht so dont worry about the front axle maintenance every 15 to 20000 km grab your coins together and
pay 140 baht

Charles:
My GPR-S is the electric version. My dealer EMC from CA. USA sent me the torque settings shown in the standard ICE Boxer, but that I'm sure wasn't for the front axle so, yes I would love it.

Thanks

Chuck
